TAKE CARE, DURING A QUARANTINE

Hey friend! So, weird story: what everyone is experiencing right now is incredibly familiar to me. I've been through a lock-down, spray-everything-with-Lysol, stay-at-home quarantine before. For almost a year. Fear of other people and their germs is a very familiar terror for anyone who has gone through chemo, or prepared for a big surgery, or had a severely compromised (or non-existent!) immune system. Over the past year, I've been working on "Take Care" - a guided journal outlining moments to expect, feelings that creep up and offering actionable advice for family caretakers. Who knew I'd also be writing a manual that would also apply to survive a stay-at-home order during a global pandemic?! Well, I've been in training for quite some time! After the third friend suggested I should share now, I agreed.

I've been here before and I want to help you get through the very specific challenges of a medical-based quarantine. I'll be posting about what worked for our house, in hopes that the experience will ease the burden and help you minimize monotony. Let me know how I can help! Wishing you safety and health!
